What the press says University of Alabama defensive Brandon Deaderick was transported to a hospital after being shot during a robbery attempt, the results in Tuscaloosa.
The spokesman for the hospital DCH Brad Fisher told reporters Deaderick Mobile Register who is in good condition and was admitted the night in a hospital room.
The shooting happened late Monday in an apartment complex. Tuscaloosa Police Chief Steve Anderson told the Tuscaloosa News the player suffered a gunshot wound in the forearm. Anderson says it's not a mortal wound.
Deaderick must have an important role in the defense during the next season for the Crimson Tide. Last year, defensive end had four sacks in 14 starts.
