jeff bridges golden globe

Jeff Bridges captured best actor award at Golden Globe awards ceremony for his role in “Crazy Heart”. Jeff Bridges Golden Globe winner turned 60 this year he was born in Los Angeles California on December 4, 1949. His father Llyod Bridges was also a famous actor.
Jeff and his brother Beau appeared in “The Lloyd Bridges show” in 1962-63. Jeff Bridges got nominated for the notable awards many times but could not win one. His first nomination was for Academy award as best supporting actor for his role in ” the Last Picture Show” in 1971. He was nominated for the same award in 1974 for the film “Thunderbolt and Light foot”. In 1984 he was nominated for Academy award as best actor for playing a role of alien in the film “Starman” Jeff was again nominated for the Academy award as best supporting actor for his role in “the Contenders.

Jeff’s work has been acclaimed by many critics. Jeff Bridges had been nominated for the best actor award by Golden Globe for his roles in “Starman” and “the Fisher King”.
Jeff Bridges finally got his Golden Globe for best actor-motion picture Drama. Crazy Heart is an American musical film based on a novel written by Thomas Cobb. The film got nice reviews from critics and Jeff’s performance was termed as captivating. According to some reviews he elevated the film by his exceptional presence.

Earlier on the red carpet Jeff Bridges said,” I’m not counting any chickens”. Well Jeff Bridges Golden Globe may be a beginning you may be getting more.
